Everyone
with a real estate license is not a REALTORŪ. The term REALTORŪ is a
registered collective membership mark identifying a real estate professional
who is a member of the National Association of REALTORSŪ. To become a REALTORŪ
a licensee must agree to abide by the National Association's strict Code of
Ethics.
Adherence to this document ensures that the REALTORŪ community is a group of
honest, trustworthy, reputable business people who treat all parties fairly and
hold high professional standards.
The
Carteret County Association of REALTORSŪ are members
of the local, state and national associations and work to protect property
values and property rights. Being a member of these groups gives Carteret
County REALTORSŪ benefits that help to increase their efficiency and
professionalism in the real estate industry. They have marketing tools, such as
the Multiple Listing Service, standards of professionalism, educational
programs, and technological tools that help them provide the highest quality of
service to their clients and customers.
Home buyers and sellers seeking knowledgeable real estate professionals should
consult a REALTORŪ in order to get the best service in the industry.
